The 15+ Best Prime Day Tech Deals Still Live: Last Chance Deals on MacBooks, TVs, Headphones, and More

## The Second Day Is Here—and the Deals Are Still Beating the Price Hikes

Let me tell you something that should make every American tech buyer sit up and pay attention.

**The RAM crisis has made everything more expensive. But Amazon Prime Day is fighting back.**

If you've walked into a Best Buy lately, you've seen the damage. Memory prices are up **700% in four years**. Apple raised MacBook prices by **$200 to $300** this year. Samsung just jacked up Galaxy S26 prices by **$100 to $200**—seven months after launch. Even **Tim Cook** called it a **"100-year flood"** —the worst component crisis he's seen in **40 years**.

**And yet—Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is delivering deals that actually erase some of those hikes.**

The event runs through **tonight, October 7, at 11:59 p.m. PT**. That means you have hours—not days—to grab the tech you've been waiting for.

I've spent the last 24 hours digging through every deal, comparing prices, and reading reviews from people who actually buy this stuff. What I found is that **the second day of October Prime Day is delivering some genuinely spectacular discounts** on the brands you actually want: Apple, Sony, Google, Samsung, and more.

Let's get into it.

## Why This Prime Day Matters More Than Most

### The "RAMageddon" Backdrop

**Frequently Asked Question:** *Why are tech prices so high right now?*

**Because AI is eating the world's memory.**

Companies like Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta are buying **high-bandwidth memory (HBM)** at a pace that has overwhelmed supply. The three companies that control the global DRAM market—**SK Hynix, Samsung, and Micron**—have sold out their premium AI memory capacity through much of 2026.

**The result:** Memory makers are prioritizing AI data centers over consumer electronics. Prices for ordinary memory chips **jumped 171% last year**. And that cost gets passed directly to you.

**Translation:** That laptop, phone, or tablet you're eyeing? It costs more than it did six months ago. And without Prime Day, it would cost even more.

**This is why the deals below matter.** They're not just discounts. They're **opportunities to buy before the next price hike hits**.
